Northern School of Music in the city of Kolkata is now organizing training sessions for those aspirants who want to learn to play the flute in specific musical genres or who want the best training in the medium of dance.

Northern School of Music (NSM), founded in the year 2003, is a leading music training provider in India. The music school organizes expert training classes in several streams, including vocal and instrumental music. NSM also offers classes in the theory of music, drawing and painting. The music school even conducts renowned certification examinations for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), as well as Trinity College London and London College of Music. The instruments for which students can take the training include piano, keyboard or synthesizer, table, drums, guitar and violin.

At the latest press meet, the owner of Northern School of Music shared, “While we have been training the aspirants in different forms of dance, we have also introduced our flute classes. Our flute teachers are famous for creating world-class Indian flutists who prove themselves every year on several international stages. Our students learn western classical music on flute, along with other musical genres like Indian classical flute. They can also learn Indian contemporary/commercial and western contemporary music on flute.”

Northern School of Music provides flute classes because learning flute helps in concentration and activation of the brain. Flute playing also increases memory power and IQ. Learning and playing the flute helps to control and stabilize the mind, thereby improving the students’ abilities in academics. Research has shown that the students playing the flute require less time to learn something than those who do not practice music. NSM teaches its flute students various genres of music that also include Bollywood songs in staff notation.

The owner of NSM also informed, “Learning western classical flute is about learning art and culture. We can travel back in time and get to know different periods of history when flute was used. It also helps our students to learn structure and innovation. At NSM, we place high importance on performance. That is the reason we make our students and teachers perform in different concerts that we organize. For instance, they recently performed in our Roof-Top Concert 2, which was held in May 2018. We will soon be conducting more of such concerts.”

Northern School of Music offers the most cost-effective music education in its one-on-one and group classes. The music school not only has the best flute teacher in Kolkata but it also has the top faculty to train the dance enthusiasts.
