Hair transplant surgery is booming as a reliable and trusted solution for the hair loss problem. A lot of women or men are choosing this exceptional procedure which is a proved treatment by the doctors and surgeons.

This procedure has two different types strip procedure and FUE technique. Both of them are amazing and provide good results but there must be a difference. Most of the doctors say that strip surgery leave a linear scar on the treated area but FUE is known to not leaving any scar on the head. Dr. Kinnar Kapadia Explains the reasons for the effectiveness of FUE technique. Dr. Kapadia is a well-known Hair Transplant Surgeon in Ahmedabad. Last days he explained about these two awesome techniques that have some difference to be clearly understood by the patients.

What is The Difference?

According to Dr. Kapadia, both of the hair transplant techniques provide extremely natural results. These two techniques differ in a way hair follicles are extracted from the donor areas. A brief description of both the techniques is as follows:

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) or Strip Surgery

Using FUT techniques, a small strip of tissues is removed from the back of the head then the hair follicles are harvested from the strip by a team of experts. These hair follicles are transplanted to the recipient areas.

FUE hair transplant surgery

Using FUE technique, each follicular unit is individually removed directly from the donor areas randomly. FUE is considered as a suitable procedure when a larger area is not required to be covered. FUE is a time-consuming procedure since follicles are removed one by one at a time.

Scarring:

The FUT strip method leaves a linear scar in the back of the head. The scar can be concealed by the shortest of the haircuts and it becomes less noticeable after some time. As the FUE procedure is performed by removing hair individually from the scalp, it does not leave any linear scar on the treated area. It makes tiny puncture marks that heal by themselves after one or two weeks.

In fact, both of the procedures cannot be called scar less hair transplant. In FUE, there are a lot of small circular scars that are not linear but scattered over the treated area. FUE is done using extremely small micro needles that make smaller punches resulting in tiny scar wounds. Generally, FUE makes tiny 0.5 mm or less tiny wounds that are almost impossible to observe if the observer is not so close to the patient. If the patients shave their heads, most probably the scars will be visible after the strip surgery.

Which One is The Best?

According to the doctor, the answer of this question totally depends on the final decision of the final decision of the doctors. However, there are various advantages or disadvantages are related to both of the procedures but both of them are useful for the patients facing different hair loss problems. it means, only one procedure cannot be an ideal solution for all the hair loss problems. Dr. Kapadia says that the patients have nothing to worry about the suitability of procedures and they can leave it to the skilled Hair Transplant Surgeon in Ahmedabad. They are capable of giving all the patients a piece of good advice.
