1. Milling machine: It has a wide range of processing capabilities and can be found in almost every tool factory. It is used for roughing and finishing of planes and grooves. Flat milling cutters, ball end mills and R cutters are the most popular tools. The disadvantage is that it cannot process internal right angles.
2. Drill: This is a small machine for drilling. Typically, the bore is less than 16 mm. It is always used to machine holes without high quality or high precision. But the operation is very easy and the processing speed is very fast.
3. Radial Drilling Machine: It is a branch of the drilling machine with an arm that can rotate around the main shaft. It is most commonly used for higher workpieces that cannot be machined by conventional drill presses, or for drilling deep holes.
4. Lathe: This is the most common processing equipment used to machine rotating parts such as round inserts, struts, locating rings, etc.
5. Large water mill: It is necessary equipment for processing large workpieces, such as the reference surface of large tool board, slider, block reference.
6. Grinder: This is a very common processing equipment for machining small-sized tool parts. This is a high precision machine up to 0.002 μm. However, the tool path is only straight and therefore not suitable for surface milling.
