Originally from Germany, Nick Herle spent his early years in Baden-Baden, Germany. He was quick to show his eagerness for innovation and began the Herle Radioservices GmbH in 2005. This business provided communication radio packages for the government as well as private entities. He was also part of the Red Cross for over 10 years in Germany. He went on to sell his company in 2011.
He knew his passion was in flying and so he achieved his EASA pilot license at 17. He moved to the United States due to the lack of opportunity in Germany. He managed to convert his EASA pilot license to an FAA Commercial Instrument and Flight Instructor Certificates. He launches a company known as Heli Aviation in 2012 that provides flight training and is a helicopter company. He has since launched flyVENTURE as a result of the criticism and concern towards aerial sightseeing tours. flyVENTURE uses the best safety standards and equipment that ensures the safety of passengers.
His 13 years of experience in the aviation industry has led him to write multiple books on his experiences. His latest book, 7700 Engine Failure and OEI Techniques is written from the perspective of a pilot. It provides an easy-to-read overview of the fundamental things to know about engine failure, particularly in single engine helicopters. He emphasizes on autorotation techniques along with crucial OEI procedures in multi-engine helicopters. The book also includes easy-to-follow diagrams and is perfect for those involved in the aviation sector.
Nick Herle is constantly working at improving his skills and helping the communities in Florida. He has donated his helicopters for various causes to help those who require these services. He has also developed the patented Helisaw to help utility companies with clearing vegetation.
