The Great Wall of China is for the high walls as The Niagara Falls is famous for its waterfalls, Niagara Falls is the common name for three falls that shares the border between New York-The United States and Ontario-Canada. More than 3,000 tons of water flows over the falls per second, and thousands of tourists come to see it. You can plan to view Niagara Falls from the U.S. side or the Canadian side, without getting wet. But it doesn’t have as much fun as we get wet.

An Overview

There are three falls in Niagara River, which acts as the border between U.S and Canada, which is from the city of Niagara Falls up to Lake Ontario.

• American Falls
• Bridal Veil Falls
• Horseshoe Falls

The two falls, namely American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, are on the U.S side, and Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side. Bridal Veil Falls is smaller than the other two falls. Just a tiny gap which separates it from American Falls, so many people don't even know the fact that the two falls are separate. Whereas, The Horseshoe Falls is double the size of an American Falls.

Several islands surround the river near the falls. The largest island is Goat Island, which joins the American and Canadian falls. Visitors can cross a footbridge to reach those Three Sisters Islands. The cave which is named as Cave of the Winds attraction is accessible from Goat Island. It is a cave located behind Bridal Veil Falls.

Visiting The American Side

When you reach the Niagara Falls State Park, then stop at the Visitor Center. From there you can go to the Observation Tower, and then move forward to the Discovery Center and the Niagara Aquarium. You can also go by walk or on the drive onto Goat Island, or you buy a ticket for one of the adventurous tours of the falls.

The adventure to Niagara starts with an elevator ride that takes you 175 feet down into the Niagara Gorge. A series of walkways are constructed into the edge of Goat Island near the base of Bridal Veil Falls. While you walk up on to the Hurricane Deck, you feel like a tropical storm.

The Niagara Falls Boat Tour is only accessible from the New York side and is a must try trip as it remains you a lot of memories in your life. It is not necessary to show the passport when you board the boat, as the reason is it leaves and returns to the same place. The total time it takes to take this trip is a 20-minute which takes you to the basin of all three falls.
The Niagara Falls Boat Tour and the Cave remain closed during Winter, so once you check the timings before you visit the park.

Visiting The Canadian Side

Watching The Niagara Falls Tour from the Canadian side is better. It is worth watching Niagara Falls from the Canada side. The main view of Niagara Falls from Canada.
If you visit Niagara Falls from the US side to the Canadian side requires you to cross the border. The Rainbow Bridge connects the two countries. If you need to cross the border to Canada, then you need to carry a valid passport or other acceptable identities.

Once you pass all the procedures, then you can go through to Table Rock, which is located directly across from Horseshoe Falls and offers excellent views. Kids will enjoy Niagara's Fury, which is a 4D attraction that shows how the falls were formed. Visitors can also book or buy a ticket for Journey Behind the Falls. Journey Behind the Falls is open year-round.
Plan your Niagara Falls Tour and enjoy the beauty of Niagara Either from the Canadian side or the US side.
