Delhi: Bariatric surgeries’ outcomes so far have established beyond doubt that obesity is the villain of the piece behind almost all the ailments including diabetes.

Hence, DMA DIABESITY CON- 2017 on August 13 would give a battle cry- freedom from Diabesity. Talking to Medicare News, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the DMA conference, Dr. Bhatia, Chairman, Institute of Minimal Access Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, Institute of Robotic Surgery (IRS), Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said, ‘ Experts who would be participating in the one day conference on August 13 would examine threadbare the outcomes of weight loss procedure named bariatric surgery. The outcomes robustly underline the fact that obesity gone, all other ailments namely, diabetes, knee pain, fatty liver, infertility, migraine, heart ailment, et al also disappear.’
