TORONTO, Education in International Business Management is prevalent throughout the various institutions in Canada. Students are realizing the value of this field and they have many opportunities to study and receive a certificate. Ever more, students want to continue their studies towards receiving a Master’s degree. Centennial College’s International Business Management program graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies and apply their Centennial credits towards a Master's degree with the college’s university partners.

Centennial’s three-semester program which takes place over one year begins with courses including International Banking and Finance, Global Logistics and Global Business Research and Analysis, among others. The second semester involves Employment Preparedness, Comparative Geopolitical Systems, Corporate Social Responsibility and International Development, Developing an International Business Plan and International Marketing. Both semesters touch upon Business Communications. The third and final semester has students studying Business - Experiential Learning, which allows them to experience the Canadian work environment and to apply various skills learned in the first & second semesters of the program. The course facilitates sharing of experiences during the internship in a safe and encouraging environment and helps the student structure his/her experiences in terms of a portfolio which is an important summative document for the entire learning acquired during the length of the program.

Upon graduation, many students want to continue to further their education in the field. Graduates of Centennial's certificate program have the opportunity to continue their studies and apply their credits towards a Master's degree with Davenport University, Griffith University and the University of Western Sydney, an opportunity not available at every institution offering the program. Students further their studies and go on to work as customs brokers, foreign investment and risk analysts, international marketing representatives and more.
