Nanci Kushner has always had the desire to help people in any way that she could, which ended up being the main driving force behind her decision to become a grade school teacher. In that role, she was able to help children build the educational foundation that they would need to succeed once they moved up to high school and during their journey through further education and their careers.

Upon retiring from that role so that she could focus more on her family, Nanci found that she still wanted to do whatever she could to help others and also discovered that she now had more time to dedicate to causes that are near and dear to her heart. She has always been a physical fitness enthusiast, which played a large part in her decision to become a Pilates instructor following her retirement, but she felt that she could do more to help those in her community who have fallen on hard times and need a helping hand.

As such, Nanci, alongside her family, donates as much her time and resources to a number of local causes. Nanci Kushner believes that this not only offers her the chance to help others, but also allows her to build on her existing skillset through the work that she does, while also instilling in her family the virtues of doing what you can if you are in a position to do so.

As part of her charity work, Nanci spends much of her time at a local hospital, helping patients to get through the trauma that their hospital visit has caused them. By just being present and willing to talk to the patients that she meets about anything and everything, while also offering a helping hand wherever she is able, she feels that she is able to do as much to help others as she did during her time as a grade school teacher.

Today, Nanci Kushner continues to explore the various social issues that affect her local community and aims to continue offering her skills and resources to a number of causes that are dear to her heart.
