[KENT, 2/10/2019] – Munchkin Sports provides children with rugby classes that teach them fundamental skills and prepare them for their sporting career. The company also helps students develop their social interaction to build confidence and well-being.

Giving Children an Enjoyable Time
Munchkin Sports makes every class fun for students. The company uses music in its rugby classes, making them unique from other sports companies. Each Rugby Munchkin class is non-contact and suitable for boys and girls, as well.

Munchkin Sports divides its classes into three age groups to avoid making any child feel vulnerable. The three age groups are:
• Two to three years old (45-minute class) – children will learn the basic skills in rugby, including holding the ball in two hands and developing balance, coordination and agility.
• Three to four years old (45-minute class) – this stage is where children will learn rugby specific drills, including side-stepping, touch rugby and timed team events that introduce healthy competition and fun.
• Four to seven years old (60-minute class) – this focuses on improving children’s core skills to prepare them for mini-rugby. Children will play fun games with specific rugby-relevant themes.
Lead coaches will assess the students individually, so they will be in the correct class. Parents are also welcome to interact, but the company encourages them to use the time to take a break.

Convenient Locations and Schedules
Classes are available on Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the location. The Rugby Munchkin classes are situated at the following locations:
• Avery Hill
• Greenwich University in Eltham
• Old Colfeian’s RFC in Lee
• Old Dunstonian’s Rugby Club in Beckenham
• Eltham Hill Girls School in Eltham
Classes are fully insured with relevant personal accident and liability cover.
