13th October 2021, Mumbai: Munchilicious is a healthy snack made of Granola and a unique product of Mumbai based Soch Foods. It retails in over 200 stores across the country. This brand also permits customers to buy granola online through online grocery stores of companies like Amazon and This Or That.

Soch foods were started in 2016 by entrepreneur couple, Purvi and Rohit Pugalia. The husband-wife duo stumbled on the perfect snack brand Munchilicious to satiate their own cravings.

It all began when Rohit began working in Kolkata as a stockbroker. He found himself craving between-meal snacks during his long days at the office. Purvi began packing the usual snacks but they only made Rohit’s lunch box heavier without satisfying his craving.

Soon the couple moved to Mumbai and here, they thought of the idea of supplying healthy snacks to executives. At first, they supplied fresh salads and fruit juices. But Purvi was bent on making something better and hit upon the concept of Granola snacks by marrying nutrition with flavour. Thus, was born Munchilicious – a healthy and tasty granola snack- to cater for breakfast as well as mid-meal cravings.

The couple began making and selling these granola snacks using locally sourced ingredients, so as not to be intimidated by the price of granola. They put up small stalls in flea markets and exhibitions and found much success, especially through word of mouth. In May 2016, they officially launched the Munchilicious brand.

The brand struck online marketplaces like Flipkart and Amazon for selling granola snacks. In November 2018, Munchilicious hit the first retail shelf in Santa Cruz, Mumbai. Currently, the brand sells across 200 stores all over India. In July 2019, it entered the Singapore market through the e-commerce store, Lazada. Now, they are eyeing the European market.

There are five kinds of granola snacks in the brand. For breakfast, there is the Munchilicious Original; it is baked with the goodness of honey, cashews, oats, almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. It is packed with taste and nutrition.

The second kind is Munchilicious Dried Fruits; loaded with oats, honey, seeds, nuts, fibre and tropical elements like apricot, strawberry and pineapple. It is ideal for those with a sweet tooth.

The third kind of granola appeals to sweet lovers with little prices of nuts coated with delicious dark chocolate. This wholesome choc-nutty snack is the guilt-free option for all die-hard lovers of chocolate.

Then there are the latest Vegan granola snacks. This Gluten-free, vegan option of guilt-free snacking is packed with cherry and maple syrup, black currant and exotic coconut. Nutritious and delicious, it satiates all daily cravings.

The fifth and latest addition to this range is Desi Twist. It is a combination of Granola with savoury Indian spices and is the perfect snack to be had with a cup of evening Chai (tea).
