When a lease includes both land and buildings elements, we should assess the Hydrometallurgy Equipment of each element as a finance or an operating lease separately. (Except, if the amount that would initially be recognised for the land element is immaterial, the land and buildings ma y be treated as a single unit for the purpose of lease classification. In such a case, the economic life of the buildings is regarded as the economic life of the entire leased asset.) In determining whether the land element is an operating or a finance lease, an important consideration is that land normally has an indefinite economic life, which makes most of the land elements operating leases. However, this is not always the case. Land elements can be classified as a finance lease if significant risks and re wards associated with the land during the lease period would have been transferred from the lessor to the lessee despite there being no transfer of title. For example, consider a 999-year lease of land and buildings. In this situation, significant risks and rewards associated with the land during the lease term would have been transferred to the lessee despite there being no transfer of title. Separate measurement of the land and buildings elements is not required when the lessee's interest in both land and buildings is classified as an investment property in accordance with IAS 40 and the fair value model is adopted.

Goods imported to any part of the world must be classified for customs and if they were imported to Brazil they must be as well. The Brazilian classification system named NCM is based in the harmonized system applicable worldwide. The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System of tariff nomenclature-lso known as HS-s an international standardized system used for classifying imported and exported products. The system was developed by the World Customs Organization and nowadays more than 200 countries or territories are employing the HS worldwide.

Some countries already had extended their nomenclatures to ten or eight digits. In Brazil, the harmonized system comprises eight digits. The Harmonized System also comprises general rules for the interpretation of the HS, that establishes general rules for the classification of goods in the Nomenclature. And explanatory notes to the HS-he NESH-hat provides clarification and interpretation of the Harmonized System, setting out in detail the scope and content of the nomenclature.

Indicators may vary in their validity and reliability. Validity is the degree to which the indicator measures what it is intended to measure, i.e. the result of a measurement corresponds to the true state of the phenomenon being measured. A valid indicator discriminates between care otherwise known to be of good or bad quality and concurs with other measures that are intended to measure the same dimension of quality. Reliability is the extent to which repeated measurements of a stable phenomenon by different data collectors, judges, or instruments, at different times and places, get similar results. Reliability is important when using an indicator to make comparisons among groups or within groups over time. A valid indicator must be reproducible and consistent.

A proposed operation of a semicontinuous fluidized-bed ion-exchange system was studied. The system splits a liquid current into two currents, one being more concentrated and the other more depleted. This operating technique has been used to split up a mixture of alkaline ions (Na+, K+) using a strongly acidic resin. The equipment operates simultaneously in two multistage columns, one for loading and the other for elution of the resin. The experimetal testing system employs a Hydrometallurgy Equipment containing cobalt and copper as heavy metallic ions, and the resin used was of the chelating iminodiacetic type, Lewatit TP-207. At cyclic steady state, the equipment can split up the wastewater, producing an effluent concentrated in cobalt in the outlet stream of the loading column, and a concentrated stream of copper in the effluent of the elution column.
