Surrogacy is a very long process containing many phases, in which each phase happens sequentially. The process involves the following steps
1. Initially a free consultation will be provided for the intended parents and both of them were examined medically with some basic tests.
2. Based on the test results, the matching surrogate mothers were found, consultation is given and medical tests were done.
3. The legal contract papers were signed by both the surrogate mother and the intended parents to avoid problems.
4. Then the suitable surrogacy method is chosen based on the choice of intended parents and artificial insemination takes place.
5. The surrogate mother enters into the pregnancy period and delivers the baby after the pregnancy is completed.
6. At last the surrogate mother again signs a consent stating that terminating her parental rights, leaving the sole custody of the child to the man or allowing the intended mother to adopt the child, which is based on the intended parent’s status.
