With Snippet Manager, you have a choice of syncing your code snippets with either Github or Bitbucket. If you already have snippets with either of these services, they will be automatically imported into your Snippet Manager account. And then, going forward when you create and update any of your snippets, they will be synced back with the 3rd party services. Syncing with 3rd party services means that you always have your snippets backed up for you eliminating reliance or worry about ever losing your code snippets.
