He has been named as the head engine builder for the NASCAR Winston Cup racing’s “full-service” team and he was in charge of engine department from 1997 to 2003, at Andy Petree Racing. the #55 Square D Chevrolet driver Bobby Hamilton

He contributed to 3 MFG NNS championships (2008-2010 and 6 MFG NCWTS championships in (2006-2010 and 2013). In addition to this, he is the two-time Mahle-Clevitte NCWTS Engine Builder of the year in 2005 and 2010.
