[b]Aravind Gunasekaran[/b], hailing from Richmond, is a well-known mountaineer who has participated in various successful expeditions. He did his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a renowned university. Being an engineer, he always wanted to keep his hobby of conquering the peaks alive by climbing various mountains. He believes that climbing to the top demands more strength. He has attained high points in mountainous regions mainly for the pleasure of the climb. He also states that mountain climbing embodies the thrills produced by resourcefulness, cunning, strength and ability.

Talking about his mountaineering expeditions, he has successfully climbed White Mountains of New Hampshire that is a perfect destination for serious mountaineering. This expedition helped him to learn and refine his mountain climbing skills. Apart from this, he has also managed to conquer Rocky Mountains in Colorado. This place helped him to build experience at altitude and traveling over the exposed terrain. Besides mountaineering, Aravind loves cooking and photography.

While completing his graduation, Aravind became a member of the mountain climbing club. Owing to his vast experience in mountain climbing, he is planning to climb Mount Fuji in Japan. He is married to a mountaineer whom he met while climbing a mountain.
