Michael J. Emigh made promotional and membership marketing materials such as welcome kits and collateral to use at events, and in direct marketing campaigns. He is the man in-charge for responding to requests from members regarding general information. He also contributes to newsletter, publications, and the website of the New Era Golf Club. In addition to this, he arranged special events for members, and also worked with staff on communicating members' requirements via newsletter, website, and other communication sources. He confidently managed a number of projects such as corporate membership and productivity / HR value added benefits, 5 premier course membership, and angel tree toy drive (New Era Golf and The Salvation Army) from November 2012 to December 2012.

Michael J. Emigh helped implement an excellent annual membership plan with COO Ray Finnearty. The goals and metrics for these projects are well thought out and spread amongst our courses. Michael is responsible for ensuring that all those goals are achieved. Michael is fully committed to his job, and also actively participates in staff calls, and leadership team meetings. Besides this, he created budgets and keep a regular check on financial progress of member retention, acquisition, and marketing projects. With the help of his skills set, and tactics he has used in the past to turn many businesses into large and successful companies, he has grown the membership to 400 strong. Michael arranges, manages, and produces a minimum of 9 Major Events each Season for his Membership to participate in including but not limited to Member – Guests, Member –Members, Club Championships -Blind Draws, Scotch Doubles, Alternate Shot – and weekly Pot Games. During the Golf Season, Members earn participation points for the year end Race to the New Era Cup. Emigh and his NEGMGA Board work many hours to make these events possible with the staff of the New Era Facilities. At the end of the Golf Season, Members are thanked at the final event. The Wham Bam Thank You Clam Bake. This year will mark the 2nd Annual New Era Clam Bake Event. Members and their guests enjoy an 18 hole scramble and then feast upon lobster, steak, clams, corn, potatoes, and much, much more. These items are prepared by our Sous Chef at the Royal American Links golf Club.

While in school, he was counted amongst the most brilliant students. He was made the Captain of the Golf Team in High School. Apart from this, he was also elected as the President of the Student Council. Emigh went on to play a couple years of college golf before he decided to focus on his studies. Through his endeavors and travels he met his mentor, Ray Finnearty. Emigh attributes much of his success to "Finneartisms" coupled with the solid foundation extracted from his parents and grandfather in addition to his self-employed entrepreneurship trials and tribulations. "We learn many important lessons throughout our lives by working hard and "doing" and also by failing then getting back up and doing again; growing from each error and each triumph." states Emigh.

This group added a $2.3 million purchase of New Albany Links Golf Club which is a semi-private course located in New Albany and the most recent acquisition of The Golf Club of Dublin, which initially hit the market at nearly $7 million. In addition to this, New Era Golf also owns and operates Bent Tree Golf Club in Sunbury, Royal American Links in Galena, and Glenross Golf Club in Delaware.
