Gurgaon: One of the best IB schools in Gurgaon, Amity Global saw active involvement of students from different classes for a colourful celebration of India’s 73rd Independence Day on 15th August 2019.

From tiny tots dressed as freedom fighters to students of senior section who presented awe-inspiring dance performances, everyone was eager to show their enthusiasm for the national festival with whole-hearted participation.

The campus was decorated with tricolour flags, and standees with patriotic messages were placed in different areas. Some pictures of the celebration were also shared on the school’s official social media handles.

As an IGCSE school also offering the IB Diploma Programme, Amity Global School has been in news for its disciplined approach to education and emphasis on all round development of students.

Batches after batches prove their excellence at academics, sports, art competitions and a host of contests organised regularly by the school communities. The students of this IB Primary Year school actively participate in both intra and inter school events.

In addition to the recent Independence Day celebration, the school recently saw its students partaking in canvas painting and dot painting. Earlier in August, a customised aptitude test was conducted for students of Grade 9.

On 21st August, Mr. Matt Chung, Assistant Manager-Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Undergraduate Recruitment and Admission Office visited the school and conducted an interactive session for the students and parents of grade XI and XII.

With its repute in the academic community, Amity Global School received hundreds of applications for admissions in year 2019-20. In addition to the inquiries for admissions in kindergarten, the school authorities were also contacted by senior students who wish to change their board from CBSE to IGCSE.
