Surprised by the attention this jewelry brand has been getting, founder Katarina Radovic shares her story with us of how Costume Jewelry came to be and where it’s headed next.

An emerging jewelry brand got its jewelry on the cover of British Vogue magazine. Designer Katarina Radovic, creator of Costume Jewelry, designed the jewelry that was worn by models celebrating LGBTQ+ pride in honor of Pride Month, August 2022 British edition.

How Did Costume Therapy Get Featured on Vogue?
Edward Enninful, the current editor-in-chief of British Vogue, got his team to reach out to Costume Therapy after seeing the jewelry designs online. Radovic and Canavan (business partner of Costume Therapy) were thrilled to be featured in such a prestigious publication and to have Radovic's work seen by millions of people and for the message of Costume Therapy to be transmitted. They hope that the jewelry will empower people.

About the Designer: Katarina Radovic
After graduating from Istituto Marangoni, designer Katarina Radovic started in leather before creating her own line of jewelry which was first recognized internationally when it was featured on the cover of British Vogue magazine and found its way into collections all over Europe including Deutsch, France, Italia, Spain, and Sweden. Some of her most iconic pieces are made up of exoskeletal silhouettes with designs that radiate elegance through striking features such as anatomical forms or intuitive articulation.

Brand Story: Costume Therapy
Costume Therapy invites you to awaken the savage beauty within yourself. Designed to empower and transform the wearer, these exquisite symbols of identity were created to fight against anything anyone could ever say or do again. Otherworldly adornments made for people who believe in themselves; intended to haunt others, ignite erotic play, and conjure up your inner darknesses. Dynamic jewelry is composed of exoskeletal shapes, anatomical forms, and intuitive artistry. Formal sequences that consist of scales, joints, and vertebrae arranged in sensual symmetry - reminiscent of mystical creatures and biological armor. These creations are rich in detail-technically sophisticated-always sensually charged. Performance meets fashion here-where jewelry becomes an intimate component of ourselves.
