"Johnny Cash," the debut single from the Outlaw Country trio, The SLVR Tongues, has been met with rave reviews its first month out of the gate. The song has been revered as "a boot stomping monster of a hit" (SB Studios), "Highly intoxicating," and "a much needed grittier take on modern country" (The Dutch Guy). "Johnny Cash" skyrocketed to the Viral Top 50 on Spotify in Brazil, and broke into the Top 50 US Independent Charts for digital plays as well. Managing to chart in the Top 200 list for US digital plays in All Genres, The SLVR Tongues hit the #2 spot their first week of release for digital streams in the Country genre. The debut single has accrued 82,000 streams on Spotify, over 37,000 monthly listeners, and 78,954 views on YouTube in the first month alone. With "Johnny Cash" now receiving hundreds of spins on SiriusXM Radio stations like The Highway and Outlaw Country, The SLVR Tongues have turned their focus to what's next on the horizon.

The band is currently back in the studio, and anticipating the release of their first EP in early 2017. The SLVR Tongues also plan to release a new music video for the first single off the EP once the record is out.
