TEXAS FASHION AWARDS & TEXAS MODEL LOOK FINALS

The Texas Fashion Awards will held on April 14th at Career & Technical High School 1348 Genoa-Red Bluff, Houston, Texas 77034

 
In October 2015, Victor Quinteros the brand development director of Houston Fashion Week obtained proclamation from the City of Houston establishing the second week of October as Houston Fashion Week, An event concept created in March 2007 including cities like Austin, TX. Dallas, TX. and San Antonio,TX.

Supporting designers since its very beginning the organization is creating new opportunities for the local fashion industry and for that the Costume Collection Society and Fashion Week Fund are presenting the: "Texas Fashion Awards",

Designers, Models, Beauty and Media professionals with be honored during this event where fashion and beauty will collide in a Wild Jungle in the City Themed event.



The most important models featured at the event with include a disabled model: Maria Correa, the fashion organization has announced she will be traveling to New York this year joining

Franzy, Shai and other models who traveled to the Big Apple during Fashion Week as well.

"Maria is a stunning young woman and a delightful person," Quinteros, the brand development director of Houston Fashion Week, said.

"She is so special and we are enormously happy to welcome her to the most exclusive club the Texas Model Look Fashion Models & Ambassadors."

Maria - who has also modeled for H.Harloquin, and Avanti Collection, as well as appearing in campaigns for Houston Fashion Week - was delighted with the announcement.

"I'm literally living my dream right now… so humble and proud to be part of such an amazing team," she said on her Instagram page.

This event also marks the announcement of the next fashion week season, fashion designers will be able to present starting with 3 pieces at the Ready to Wear or Couture Capsule Collective event or starting with 12 pieces for the Pret A Porter and Haute Couture events.



Fashion Week events will take place during September and October 2016
