Dongguan, China (December 10, 2016) - Leading developer and manufacturer of Textile testing equipment, Testex, have announced the launch of an Air Permeability tester.


The Air Permeability tester is the latest equipment in the company's vast and comprehensive range of products. It is designed to determine the resistance of fabrics to the passage of air flow under constant pre-set air pressure while firmly clamped in the test rig of selected test head area.


Boasting a test pressure of 1~4000Pa, a measuring range of 0.1~12000mm/s and a measuring accuracy of +/-%, the Air Permeability Tester can be used on woven knitted and non-woven textile materials and can accommodate a maximum specimen thickness of ≤ 8mm.
