Maharashtra Board HSC results 2016: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the HSC (Class 12) result on May 25, on its official website.
The overall pass percentage registered is at 86.60 per cent with girls outperforming boys scoring 90.50 per cent.

The Maharashtra board had conducted the examination between February 18 and March 28, 2016.
As many as 13, 88,467 students appeared for the exam at over 2,000 centres across the state. About 7, 82,181 candidates were boys while 6, 06,286 were girls.

Students re-appearing for failed subjects have to take the exams in July this year instead of October. They can apply for the same online and the dates for the exams will be declared in the coming days.
