Martin Sheldon Thrasher has always enjoyed helping others. He is a member of his local Rotary organization and does a lot of community service projects. He also enjoys improving his community by operating successful businesses. He is an expert on fire prevention and owns a company that clean kitchen exhaust fans. In the past, he has owned other successful businesses as well. He owned a liquor store called Forrest Hill Wine and Spirits, a restaurant called Marty's Cafe, and I was a partner in three Double Drive-Thru Restaurants. For the last twenty-five years, he has been involved in fire protection and has been able to help many people protect their residential and commercial kitchens with his services. He enjoys being able to provide people with a service they need.

When Mr. Thrasher isn’t helping the community or working on making his business more successful, he is often spending time with his family. He recently got married and is the father of two young adult men who are also happily married. One of his sons is a nuclear engineer and the other is in pastoral school. Both of his sons played sports in school so Mr. Thrasher often coached football, basketball, and baseball. He is a big sports fan and is the proud owner of the 2008 Pro Bowl football that was signed by both teams.

Aside from work, family, sports and the community, he is also an animal lover. He owns a Persian cat who considers part of this family. He also boxes and is a former boxing champion. He was close to his family growing up and was one of four children. His parents flipped businesses and the family often moved around a lot. His father passed away from cancer in 2015 but his legacy still lives on through Martin Sheldon Thrasher and his sons. He hopes to be able to make his family proud and continue to own successful businesses in Georgia and Alabama.
