Wash clothes properly: we have the ultimate guide for you:

Gall soap is a small all-rounder and works in almost all types of stains, without discoloring or bleaching the garment. So it's best to buy a big spray bottle right away.

May we fill the washing machine? Which detergent do we use best? How do we get the grease stain from my new silk dress? Washing the right clothes is not that easy.

That's why dry cleaning pickup and delivery has here a little washing guide for you, with which nothing should go wrong in the future.

1. Sort the laundry:

It's not enough to simply stuff the big mountain of dirty laundry into the washing machine. First, the laundry must be sorted thoroughly. Not all textiles are the same and there is a big difference between natural fibers, blended fabrics or synthetic fibers.

Therefore, the clothes should be sorted first of all according to the type of textile and the washing temperature. It is best to pay attention to the care label in the clothing.

The manufacturer's information is not a must. If the clothes are only very lightly soiled, they can also be washed at a low temperature. Hot washing as intended is often difficult, but also possible. Then the laundry is sorted by color.

- Sort laundry according to washing temperature.

- 90 degrees wash: only with heavily soiled cotton sheets.

- 60 degrees laundry: pajamas, sheets, towels.

- 40 degrees laundry: clothes, shirts, pants, socks or T-shirts.

- 30 degrees of linen: wool sweaters, silk blouses, and curtains.

Sort laundry by textile type:

- Hand / gentle wash: wool, silk

- Delicates: natural color, synthetics, swimwear tops

- Easy-care everyday laundry: T-shirts, shirts or socks

- Normal linen: cotton sheets or towels

- Sort laundry by colors

- White/light wash: white to light blue

- Coloreds bright: yellow, orange or pink

- Coloreds dark: blue, green or red

- Black / dark linen: black and brown

2. Pre-treat stains correctly:

There are stubborn stains where detergent alone does not help. That's why you should necessarily pretreat them. If you put the clothes into the laundry without pretreatment, the dirt can solidify even more.

Gall soap:

Gall soap is a small all-rounder and works in almost all types of stains, without discoloring or bleaching the garment. So it's best to buy a big spray bottle right away.

First, soak the stain in either carbonated or detergent-water lye (greasy stains) for 15 minutes. Then spray some gall soap on both sides and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Then put the garment into the washing machine without first rinsing the soap and washing it as normal.

If you want the best care of your clothes in the laundry, you can use dry cleaning pickup and delivery service.
