This Press Release is written to inform the readers that Nithin Kantharaj handled quality control at Ultra Weld Engineers, Bangalore.

 
Nithin Kantharaj started off on his road to success by interning for several organizations. He was a student intern with UT Southwestern, Dallas where he worked on self-management for diabetes using quality improvement. He also worked as a quality control/improvement trainee with Magod Laser Machining Private Limited, Bangalore.

Talking about his first experience as an intern, Nithin Kantharaj handled quality control at Ultra Weld Engineers, Bangalore. His roles and responsibilities included assisting the team for tracking progress of manufacturing products on-site, reviewing AutoCAD drawings to provide inputs for quicker and easier installation and suggesting corrections in the manufacturing process for better Quality, and Implementation of 5S, KAIZEN and JIT on the production floor by reducing the size of move batches and implementing better forecasting and scheduling practices for material handling within the shop floor.

Nithin Kantharaj considers himself extremely lucky that he got the opportunity to start his professional journey with a company like Zimmer Biomet.

About Nithin Kantharaj

An alumnus of PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Nithin Kantharaj is a skilled product developer and project manager. After pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical engineering, he went on to study Industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Nithin Kantharaj has an expertise in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, TQM, Time and Motion Study, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma(DMAIC), KANBAN, ISO, PFMEA, DFMEA, KAIZEN, GD&T, Root cause analysis, Corrective and preventive action(CAPA), JIT, 5S, IQ, PQ, and QP. While he was in college, he worked on a number of academic projects. Some of the major projects he worked upon include failure mode effect analysis of Samsung note components, quality analysis on Toyota 9 million recalls, and simple & multiple linear regressions.

Nithin is quite passionate about traveling to new places.
