Some sort of farmer's pride and joy includes seeing healthy, sturdy produce grow from his garden. And healthy develop results from hard work and great choices in stuff to work with. If you're just starting out in your journey of growing natural and organic food, you may be inclined to take the shortcut and buy many techniques from the agriculture supply store. Be warned, however , that a chemical-filled garden isn't good news for your produce -- and anyone who eats it. Thus, it would be a better idea to just get the machines and the tools from the store, but use entirely organic material, from fertilizer to pesticide, using the offal that Nature would prefer to regurgitate. Process them with instruments like the leaf mulcher, of course.

Autumn is the season to get started on building your organic fertilizer and organic pesticide system. With more leaves than you can handle falling away, you'll have good enough to start with your all-organic compost pit.

To create an organic fragment pit, we've prepared a process for you to follow:

1 . Find a better spot to build the compost pit. Some people make their very own compost pits in brick or concrete slab holes built on the ground, while others build theirs in steel plats and spare containers. When you've picked a suitable location, make sure that the pit structure you build won't let animals to mess up your compost pit, or permit the waste material to leak. If you're really not the BUILD IT YOURSELF guy or gal, there are composters available, and they assistance with mixing the soil.

2 . Get a leaf mulcher plus process dried leaves collected from your yard into pulp. As much as possible, don't include leaves from the black walnut shrub, as these contain juglone, a chemical growth-inhibiting chemical in which stunts the growth of plants. Some avid compost-makers enjoy leaves from the maple tree.

3. Line the foliage in a layer on the bottom of the compost pit. Top with creature manure. If you have a lot of eggshells, coffee grounds, fruit and even vegetable peels, add that to the compost as well. Add yet another layer of leaves, then another layer of manure, then top the mixture with garden soil. Land with animal urine works great because of the added urea. Just be sure that the animals that urinated on the soil aren't currently being given growth-enhancing drugs or hormones.

4. If you're employing a composter, mix everything by rolling the machine. Roll the idea every few days. Let stand for a few weeks to a few months, and you will probably have your compost ready!

5. If you didn't work with a composter, top the layers with soil. Then add some sort of layer of lime, wood ashes and ground smokey barbecue grilling on top of the mix. This helps inhibit the stench of decaying organic material. Charcoal also adds to the minerals in the morceau mix, so no worries about contaminating your compost. Whenever you turn your mixture with a pitchfork, just add some cooking with charcoal briquettes if it still emits a foul odor. Don't increase too much lime, because this will make your compost too alkaline for plants to thrive on.
