Judges said that fine holmes letting Glasgow and Fineholm letting Edinburgh was “absolutely brilliant in its approach to credit control and detailed credit references, as well as its comprehensive staff training programme."
The judges also made note that Fineholm letting services was the first lettings agency in Scotland to be ARLA registered and that the estate agent had an excellent approach to handling complaints and ongoing client call monitoring of its 1,500 managed properties.
Over 450 leading lettings agents throughout the UK attended the awards ceremony on Friday 24th May at The Lancaster London Hotel and was such an honour for fine holms letting Glasgow and Fineholm letting Edinburgh to be acknowledged at the awards.
Nominees went through a tough judging process by a panel of industry experts and overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer. The process was carried out over four months - initial entry submissions were assessed then the judging panel conducted a thorough review of the entrants. Review exercises included mystery shopping exercises and telephone interviews.
The 2012 awards in association with The Sunday Times and The Times sponsored by Zoopla are in its third year as a dedicated competition and are widely recognized as a prestigious award to win. It is the only awards event exclusively focussed on lettings.
With more entrants than ever before, over 5,000 offices were represented this year, but only a few could clinch the prize.
