Lonny Bernath is an IBM professional as well as a business owner and entrepreneur. He has years of experience in financial management and business. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from M.I.T. in 2003. He began his career as an entrepreneur when he launched Headline Capital Management in 2003. He used his graduate research to start and investment fund. The fund did very well and in the first five years, it averaged a yearly 20 percent return. He launched a second fun in 2007 that had a 100 percent return in its first year.

By 2009, Bernath had pulled out of Headline Capital Management completely and began pursuing other business endeavors. In 2010, he launched AtoZ Companies. This company dealt in eCommerce. It helped home furnishing companies optimize their google search ranking. Bernath, as the chief executive officer (CEO), was in charge of marketing, sales, finance, and he oversaw web development. He developed a wide range of skills while running this company. However, the company had to close down in 2010, and Bernath moved on to work in corporate America.

Lonny Bernath accepted a position with IBM Corporations in 2013 and began working in the enterprise software sales industry. Only a year later, he decided to become a business owner once again. He purchased Pediatric Advanced Therapy in Mooresville, North Carolina. This outpatient clinic was located in a large facility and had a lot of potential. Bernath began developing the company. He began to manage the company finances, as well as human resources and the front office. In only two years, the company doubled its yearly revenue. During that time, Pediatric Advanced Therapy also expanded to include other disciplines such as speech therapy and physical therapy. This facility is the largest of its kind in the Carolinas and helps a large group of children.
