Le Virage, a popular event venue in Houston, has hosted its largest wedding ceremony and reception to date in the Le Virage ballroom. The facilities at Le Virage, including two ballrooms, a chapel, and a wine room, make Le Virage an accommodating event venue in Houston for any sized wedding, however this wedding required Le Virage to creatively use its space to comfortably accommodate all the guests.

For the wedding itself, Le Virage had to use the Le Virage Ballroom instead of its own chapel. The Le Virage Ballroom has room for up to 500 guests assembly style compared to the Le Virage Chapel, with room for up to 300 guests. The Le Virage Ballroom is a 5000 square foot space, however wedding planners had to be creative when capacity of the Le Virage Ballroom was tested by the size of the wedding reception. The Le Virage Ballroom is picturesque, reflecting a modern look with enough space for guests and a large dance floor. The Le Virage Ballroom has also been updated with an advanced sound system. The subdued up lights give the Le Virage Ballroom a colorful and attractive allure, something that has been appreciated by many previous clients.

The staff at Le Virage creatively maximized the space available by moving some of the wedding reception out of the Le Virage Ballroom and having the reception food served table side instead of buffet style. In addition, the dance floor in the ballroom was reduced in size to squeeze in the extra tables required for the large number of guests. Feedback from the reception has been outstanding, which will allow Le Virage to host larger events in the future in its ballroom.
