What Conditions Must Be Met for Organic Tea Plantation?

Organic is far more than a simple product, it is not a way of life, but a new and systematic production concept, a long period of experience and precipitation.

The construction of organic tea garden base is the foundation of organic tea production. An organic tea garden is a tea garden that conforms to natural and ecological laws. The application of its production technology emphasizes the stability and sustainability of the tea garden ecosystem.

An organic tea garden can be the transformation of a conventional tea garden, the reconstruction and restoration of an abandoned tea garden, or a newly planted tea garden. Organic tea gardens must comply with the quality of the ecological environment and be far away from urban and industrial areas, villages and roads to prevent urban and rural garbage, dust, waste water, waste gas and excessive human activities from contaminating tea. Organic tea gardens are biologically diverse, surrounded by lush trees; fresh air and pure water; and the soil is unpolluted and fertile.

Specific requirements for organic tea gardens:
1. Tea garden irrigation water quality should comply with the dryland irrigation water quality requirements specified in GB5084-1992;
2. The atmospheric environment quality of the tea farm should comply with the first-level standard requirements stipulated in GB3095-1996;
3. The soil environmental quality of organic tea gardens should comply with the first-level soil environmental quality stipulated in GBl5618-1995. The main pollutant content limits are: copper Cu≤50.00, Arsenic As≤15.00, Mercury Hg≤0.15, Cadmium Cd≤0.20, Lead Pb ≤35.00, ChromiumCr≤90.00.

Soil requirements for organic tea gardens: The soil should have high potential fertility, deep soil, sandy soil, good ventilation, rich organic matter, high balance of nutrients, and no water accumulation, such as black sand soil, alpine lime soil, and oil sand soil. , yellow sand soil and other soils are not polluted. The content of some harmful heavy metals should be lower than the following requirements: PH value concentration limit 4.0-6.5; lead concentration limit ≤50mg/kg; arsenic concentration limit ≤40mg/kg; mercury concentration limit ≤0.15mg/kg; the concentration limit of cadmium is ≤0.20mg/kg; the concentration limit of chromium is ≤90mg/kg; the concentration limit of copper is ≤50mg/kg.

There must be an isolation zone between organic tea gardens and conventional agricultural areas. It should be isolated from natural barriers such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and natural vegetation. It can also be roads, artificial forests, and crops, but the width of the buffer zone or isolation zone should be about 100 meters. If a series of crops are grown on the isolation strip, organic cultivation must be carried out. The original trees around the base must be strictly protected and turned into a protective forest belt for the base. If there are few original trees around the base, protective forest belts should be constructed. As long as the original trees in the tea garden have no adverse effects on the growth of tea trees, they should be retained and cultivated to become street trees or shade trees in the tea garden. If there are few trees in the Central Plains, it is necessary to replant street trees or shade trees appropriately. When planting tea trees on hillsides, natural vegetation must be left on the top of the mountain, in valleys and streams, and must not be cultivated or eliminated. When planting tea trees on slopes in organic tea gardens, they should be terraced according to contour lines. The weeds on the ladder walls of the tea garden must be cut without using a hoe, or green manure and ladder-protecting plants must be planted on the ladder walls.

After a winter of dormancy and accumulation of nutrients, LBTEAS organic green tea is rich in substances and extremely fresh. Every sip brings the fragrance of the tea mountain and the sweetness of the rain and dew.

Health begins with organic matter, and quality comes from the environment. The Mount Emei organic ecological tea area has verdant trees, dense vegetation, pleasant ecology, fertile soil, and superior ecological environment, which has given birth to the excellent quality of LBTEAS organic green tea.

Walking into the Mount Emei organic tea base, you can see the entire process of LBTEAS organic green tea combined with modern biotechnology, strict ecological aseptic cultivation, and processing.
