Yesterday, Lava launched its new Z series of budget smartphones. Alongside the new Z series devices, the company also introduced its first-ever money back program. As part of the new scheme, the brand will allow users of select smartphones and feature phones to return their handsets within 30 days of purchase and get refund against the same, if they don’t like the device. The offer is valid on select devices from the brand’s the Z, A, KKT, Spark, ARC, Pearl and Caption series

To avail the money back offer, Lava buyers will need to approach an authorised centre of Lava to submit their device and get the refund. It’s worth mentioning that a nominal processing fee will be deducted from the refund, so you will not get the same amount as the purchase price for the refund. Also, the condition of the smartphone or feature phone you wish to return will also play the role in the refund amount.

As mentioned in the image above, the refund value varies from device to device. For example, if you are a user of the Lava Z25 and return it within 30 days of purchase, you will get a money back value of Rs 13,275 against the purchase amount of Rs 14,990. The refund amount will be given in the form of a cheque in favour of the customer by Lava’s authorised service partner.
