Lakeview Lodge a six acre property has been developed with a desire to share the rural charm of the Perth Hills and to retrace a chapter in our history The Australian Bushranger The Lodge is situated 35 km north east of Perth in Gidgegannup, one of the most overlooked places in the Perth Hills An undiscovered bush paradise with a wealth of diversified plant and bird life, a variety of landscape and the contrasts in topography portray a rural charm unique to the Perth hills.


The Lodge is situated only minutes from local attractions such as the Swan Valley wineries. Take a walk at Mundaring Weir or John Forrest National Park and enjoy a meal at renowned restaurants in nearby Mundaring or Parkerville. Gidgegannup is the gateway to the Avon Valley, only 30 minutes from the historic town of Today where the international white water rafting Avon Descent passes through. In the Gidge village there is a bread shop, and café. Local artists display their works in the village craft shop… its all close by.


Ideally suited for couples, the Lodge offers tastefully decorated rooms with ensuites over looking Susannah Lake. Lakeview Lodge is a perfect getaway for a well earned break. We are conscious of the special environment in which we live. To attract the different species of birdlife we have planted many native trees and shrubs which are watered by an underground boreIt is our aim to promote this beautiful region of Western Australia to visitors and to provide an experience which will be everlasting.


In-room Amenities
All rooms have private baths, tiled showers, new air conditioners, comfortable furnishings and lake view decks. Laundry facilities available upon request. Access to phone, fax, large DVD library and Free WIFI are also available. Lakeview Lodge also provides secure off-road parking.
All rooms are very private and have Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner, Bar Refrigerator, TV with DVD player, Hair Dryer, Clock / Radio, Fluffy Towels, Bath Robes, Slippers and tea making facilities. All rooms on have been upgraded, including new doors, windows and renovated bath rooms. The Billabong Suite is delightfully decorated and looks out over the beautiful blue lagoon swimming pool. The West and East Wing have views across Susannah Lake and are tastefully decorated. The North Wing with ensuite is tastefully decorated overlooking the beautiful blue lagoon swimming pool.
