Born in the year 1963, Suhel Seth spent most of the years of his childhood in Kolkata. He was the son of an accomplished businessman and developed a habit of reading and writing at an early age. This was also because of the quality education he received. He studied in some of the finest institutions in the country such as La Martiniere Calcutta and St Joseph’s College, Nainital. Further, he completed his BA (Honors) in English and MA in International Relations from Jadavpur University. Later, he left the country to study Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Suhel Seth is known as the advertising guru in the advertising world. He has worked with some of the most reputed advertising firms in India. His advertising career began with Contract Advertising. Soon, he started working with Ogilvy & Mather and then Response India. Later, he decided to be an entrepreneur and started a new venture with his brother Swapan Seth called Equus. His hard work got recognized and he received huge acclamation. Some of the biggest projects he handled over the years include Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Prime Ministerial campaign in the year 1999.
In the year 2002, he founded another advertising called Counselage. The company soon became one of the prominent names in the industry and handled many renowned clients over the years like Jet Airways, Delhi Government, Coca Cola India, and many more.

An established Author
Suhel Seth is the author of many bestsellers in India. He has authored and co-authored numerous books over the years. ‘Into Your Face’ is the first book written by him. It did well and received huge acclamation from the critics. Seth compiled various interviews and columns written by him in this book. His other book Mantras for Success: India’s Greatest CEOs Tell You How to Win is a huge success as well. Seth co-authored the book Kalighat to Calcutta with RK Laxman and Khushwant Singh. Also, he is the co-author of two other books: ‘To The Top’ and ‘The Target’.

Suhel Seth is a renowned actor. He has acted in many Bollywood movies like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Guzaarish’, ‘Calendar Girls’, and ‘Reg’. Also, he has been a part of more than 135 English plays.
