In this ‘’Glocal Village’’ infrastructure plays an instrumental role in the overall development of any society and economy by providing services to households and industries.

Good infrastructure not only changes the outlook of the city but also influences the liveability quotient. The evenness of the landscape and the infrastructure govern the development of an economy.

Delhi-NCR has seen some major infrastructural changes over the past few years. Because of its world-class infrastructure, not only renowned domestic brands but also the big global conglomerates are setting up their units around the territory. With globalization hitting the landscape of Delhi, the city is incessantly advancing its infrastructure to meet the requirements of the people.

Now precisely talking about the development of satellite cities like Gurgaon and Noida, infrastructure has played a huge role. Blue Chip companies, MNCs IT/ITES and corporate bodies from all over the world have almost established their base locations in these two cities. We can proudly call NCR the new home to major international and domestic companies. And all this has become possible only because of the cities’ (Noida and Gurgaon) decent infrastructural connectivity to Delhi and their neighbouring cities and states.

The improvements in the infrastructural connectivity is laying a positive impact on the overall real estate market situation in the National Capital Region. The breakthrough projects like as Delhi- Meerut Expressway, an extension of Noida Metro line, Magenta line metro, Yamuna Expressway, an 8-lane bridge across the Hindon River and Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway are creating heavy demands for residential and commercial properties in the region.

Noida’s newest infrastructure marvel, the new metro route between botanical garden to Kalkaji i.e. the magenta line would not only make traveling to Gurgaon from Noida easy but would also uplift the Noida’s both commercial and residential rental market. Areas close to Botanical Garden such as sectors 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 and Challera would now see better demand than before.

Faridabad and Ghaziabad are an integral part of Delhi NCR. Due to unified social and physical infrastructure, these markets are growing like never before. These areas are filled with high-end malls, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and corporate parks. Residential and commercial real estate developers are grabbing every opportunity and providing projects at affordable prices.

It’s everybody’s dream to have their own home. Homebuyers typically prefer staying closer to places with decent infrastructure. They want to be connected with all the resources be it social or physical. Good connectivity along with the superfluity of other factors adds value to the locality. Also, government’s perpetual effort to boost the infrastructure in the region will definitely drive the growth and deliver maximum to the citizen.
