Geography is the basis of the three Social Sciences which tells us about the surroundings and the resources around us. Being an entry point for the higher education, students choose Geography for pursuing their academic interest and, therefore, need a broader and deeper understanding of the subject as it gets interesting and more pertaining to the current scenario of existing resources. C. Tertiary activities-concept; trade, transport, and tourism; services; people engaged in tertiary activities.

D. Quaternary activities-concept; people engaged in knowledge processing activities.
