Crimson Reign was founded by lead guitarist and composer Titus Medina in 2001, after he moved to Phoenix from Colorado. From the very start, things looked promising for the new metal group, they would go on to build up a loyal fan base in the Phoenix area, which culminated with their 2003 win of the Battle of the Bands contest sponsored by the New Times. With the growing demand for an official CD release, the group turned their attention to the recording studio in 2005.

Their album has been positively received by both fans and critics alike, with continuing sales around the globe. One reviewer described it as “dark powers and melodic parts are constantly present”. Others have compared the band’s sound to Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, and Metallica just to name a few. Crimson Reign’s most recent raving review was in the most widely distributed metal magazine in Europe, “Hard Rock Magazine” where they were compared to Iced Earth.

Unlike many of the heavy metal bands out there, all of Crimson Reign’s songs have their own unique sound which as Titus says, “they all work together to define the voice of the band”. Once you start listening to “The Calling” you won’t be able to resist the urge to turn up the volume.

Crimson Reign is now composed of Tony Giedraitis’ vocals, Darren Tuchawena on the bass and Daniel Beck on the drums. The interest in the group's music has led to radio airplay on many stations around the world. They can also be heard on Internet radio such as Radio Airplay.
