Harry Coumnas, the Director of Argentina’s leading space agency has confirmed that a mysterious comet is heading towards the earth. However, he dismissed the rumors that indicated towards an precarious collision between the comet and our planet.

While addressing the media, Harry Coumnas said, “I know that’s how the internet powered rumor mill churns, but I would like to make things very clear. There isn’t any scientific basis behind what’s being talked about. We have experts who use highly advanced ground & space based telescopes for tracking and recording comets as well as asteroids passing within thirty miles of earth. Although we have observed a comet heading towards earth, it is not big enough to cause any destruction on our planet. In fact, this comet would simply pass over earth without touching it.
