At IQ Autobuyers, we offer a great pay out for your used car that you no longer wish to own. We understand that selling your car can be a long and confusing process, and we want to take the hassle away for you.

After buying a dwelling the second-largest item that you will buy in your lifetime is a car (until you're really into boats). With this important choice at hand I 'm consistently surprised by the small amount of effort people put in to studying and preparing what vehicle to buy. I understand people who only go out to some car dealer with a colour in your mind, it is madness.

So for those of you without much vehicle buying experience I 've provided a listing of concerns for anyone buying an used truck, automobile or van:

Mileage - Among the most significant variables and the lower it really is, the better. This means that it has had an easier life and will be in better state. It's important to remember that high mileage for some autos is low for another. For example a HGV tipper can do hundreds of thousands of miles easily while 80,000 miles on a Ford Fiesta would be considered high.

Mot - Officially the Ministry of Transport test needs to be performed every 12 months by law to see if the vehicle meets the minimum conditions needed to be road worthy. If the vehicle you buy desires an MOT afterward best case scenario is it passes and it cost your £40, worst case it fails and needs to be fixed, costing anything between a number of quid to hundreds of pounds. So if your second hand vehicle has had an MOT lately it's definitely a bonus.

Injury history - buying a vehicle that is within an accident is never straight forward. Be sure you understand the history of car or the truck before you buy it. This can be checked online using the vehicle registration.

Engine size - Electricity, fuel efficiency, speed and road tax are some of the things affected by how big is your engine. Be sure you find a size that's right for your needs.

Power steering - Most autos made in the last 10 years may have power steering but its worth checking if you are buying a classic vehicle - trust me, it makes life more easy.

Extras - You can start worrying about things like air conditioning, stereos, electric windows etc. once these fundamentals are covered New vehicles are inclined to have more bells and whistles but it all is dependent upon the model and spec of the vehicle.

You should be capable of find all of this information easily by looking for autos and used vans online. You will find many sites online that enable dealers to post up vehicles listing or to sell their vehicles online. Furthermore you can also get involved in a web-based truck auction where you'll be able to search the lots and use the advice above to find the right vehicle for you. Then just make a bid and hope you win. You might end up getting the vehicle you desire for much less than the "sticker price".
