Joshua Ironshell, the young son of Joshua Ironshell, has received a soccer award certificate after playing soccer for quite some time.

Joshua Ironshell, brother of Jaydon Ironshell and named for their father Joshua Ironshell, very recently received a prestigious award certificate of participation in youth league soccer. Joshua Ironshell, whose son has not been playing soccer for very long at all, was thrilled that his child Joshua Ironshell received the certificate. Joshua Ironshell said that he was "so proud of [his] son's achievement both on the soccer field and off."

When asked about his reasons for signing his son up for youth league soccer, Joshua Ironshell did not hesitate to give a response: "I believe that athletics are a worthwhile activity for any child -- most certainly my sons Jaydon and Joshua Ironshell." Joshua Ironshell said. "Furthermore," Joshua Ironshell went on to elaborate "with the obesity crisis becoming a childhood epidemic in the United States of America, I know that it is even more important that my sons choose activities that will encourage them to make healthy decisions."

Joshua Ironshell's soccer season was a roaring success. Though his team, the Blue Devil Flaming Flame Throwers, did not win a single game, Joshua Ironshell was quick to note that they never lost by more than eighteen goals. In fact, Joshua Ironshell and his team the Blue Devil Flaming Flame Throwers once held the winning team do a mere eight point victory.

When asked what his son intends to do with his award, Joshua Ironshell softly chuckled and replied: "He will say frame it. It is more than likely, however, that the certificate will be taped to my refrigerator until the time comes that I get tired of looking at it. When that happens, I will throw the certificate away and feign ignorance when my son, Joshua Ironshell, demands to know of its whereabouts."

It is safe to say that the long held soccer tradition of issuing certificates to players that will sit on the face of the refrigerator until the time comes for parents like Joshua Ironshell to throw them away is alive and well in youth soccer leagues across the United States of America! We wish Joshua Ironshell and his son the absolute best of luck in next year's youth soccer season.
