Just two days to the world cup and most of the teams taking part in it have arrived in Russia. Needless to say, they will be getting the best hospitality that Russia can offer. Without wasting much time, let us give our preview on some of the teams that will be taking part in this year’s world cup.

GROUP G

BELGIUM

The Red Devils (as the Belgium soccer national team is called) have played in 12 World Cups and will be making their 13th appearance at Russia. Belgium played in the inaugural World Cup in 1930, losing their first game to the United States. Their best outing was in 1986 at Mexico when they finished 4th place after losing the 3rd place match to France 4-2.

Four years ago in Brazil, they had an impressive outing, winning all group stage matches, beating Algeria, Russia and South Korea and in the Round of 16, they sent United States parking with a 2-1 victory before losing 1-0 to Argentina in the quarterfinals.

The Red Devils scored a record 43goals in the qualifiers and are one of the favourites to go far in the competition. The star-studded side coached by Roberto Martinez has notable players like Kevin De Bruyne, Mousa Dembele in the midfield.

The defence has Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and ageing but reliable Vincent Kompany. Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard are in the front lines.

Our experts at Jolloftips are unanimously predicting that Belgium will get to quarterfinals and England vs Belgium game is the star match of the group.

PANAMA

Panama makes their World Cup debut in Russia, qualifying from the CONCACAF zone. No one expects much from them. They are just like that varsity fresher still trying to figure out what higher institution is all about. With no known player, Panama is definitely going to Russia for tourism.
Of course, we unanimously predict they will go home after the Group Stage.

TUNISIA

One of Africa’s five representatives in Russia 2018 will play in Group G. The Les Aigers de Carthage (translated as Carthage Eagles), will be making their fifth World Cup appearance.

The first was in 1978 where they won just a match against Mexico, that victory is the first World Cup match won by an African country. Tunisia has never gone beyond the group stage and the burden of doing so rest on the shoulders of the Nabil Maulool led team.
We predicts that they will be going home after the Group stage.

ENGLAND

The three lions have participated in 17 previous World Cup. Their first was in 1950. They won the 1966 edition on home soil. England’s worst World Cup performance was four years ago when they left the Group stage after losing to Italy and Uruguay and drew with Coast Rica.

England qualified unbeaten during the qualifying rounds (what else would you expect from a star-studded side that pays against San Marino and Faroe Island).

The Gareth Southgate team has an array of stars that ply their trade in the English Premier League. Will England turn their underachieving fortune around? Time shall tell.

Getting to the round of 16 shouldn’t be too tasking for them
