There is a saying that, when you have it, you do not realize its advantages. This is true even when you consider Curly hair. Some people don’t have it and want it badly.

1st March 2012 - Natural Curly hair is becoming a lot more common these days. Many are born with it and those who are not make it curly later. Many of those who are born with it don’t appreciate its presence and those who don’t have it want the new look. Before one can select a style for curling their hair, there are many types. These are classified as numbers and the different shapes they give is the different styles.
Type 2 is wavy hair and this forms an s shape. These normally straighten easily and some types may tend to frizz more. Type 3 is standard hair which is curly in nature. This forms s shaped loops and they tend to frizz less often as compared to the wavy hair. Tangling is a main problem with this type of hair. These are loop shaped at the bottom and hence a lot easier to straighten.
This type has several classifications and the main ones are the - a type and the b type. The a type has loose curls and very shiny in nature. The b type has typically tighter curls and a lot harder to straighten with a flat iron. The b type is more often called corkscrew curls. The type 3c is usually not placed under the type three classes as it has more characteristics of the next class. These curls are a lot tighter and they are very fine in texture. They form a thick dense mass of curls.
Type 4 is visibly kinky hair; this form of hair is typically, very closely placed curls and is extremely difficult to straighten. Using a flat iron on this form of hair is impossible. This type of hair is extremely thin and more brushing and combing that is done on this hair, the more is the harm caused on the hair. Split ends are very common in this type of hair.
After identifying the different styles of Curly hair, it is then easy to identify which form would suit you the best and then do the necessary to obtain and maintain that curly form.
