Every human loves to take care of their Natural hair. The natural hairs are always been treated as a symbol of beauty to every human.

18th July 2012 - The natural hair that we are blessed with is one of our most prized assets and calls for certain specific care routines. These hair care routines are fashioned around the various styles and textures of hair that people have. Due to the genetic constitution of an individual, the hair style also differs in the resulting phenotype. For example, there are people who have naturally straight hair, and others have tight curls or even dreadlocks. Still there are others who sport wavy hair, which ranges somewhere between curly and straight.
To further add to this plethora of appearances, there are different colours of hair, starting from a raven black, to brownish, and then moving on to blonde, or reddish brown and similar shades. This delightful variety of styles and colours need their own specific nutrients, in order to maintain the original lustre and softness of the hair. It is important to know that the follicular cells of the scalp secrete a natural oil by themselves, which has been found to be nourishing for the hair.
But apart from this, there are yet other ways in which we can appropriately nourish our hair and encourage more hair growth. For starters, it is always advisable to apply hair oil on the roots of the hair and also massage the scalp regularly, before shampooing.
This is because most shampoos draw out the moisture and oil content from the hair tending to leave it dry. This necessitates the application of a suitable conditioner, which shows a high moisture content as well. It is always useful to trim your hair regularly, as it curtails the formation of unsightly split-ends, which mar the overall appearance of the hair.
Dermatologists have also pointed out that the regular use of styling devices like curling tongs, or irons or hair straighteners tend to leave the hair dry and brittle. Hence, the use of these devices should be minimised, or there should be appropriate measures taken to re-vitalize the hair once these procedures are done. Hence, our natural hair needs to be properly looked after and tended to.
