6th December 2011 - Golf is one of the most famous games, which is played all around the world. As a matter of fact, it is often referred to as the game of gentlemen, played with utter reverence and sportsman spirit.

For all of you who are deeply interested in the game, you would know that for being a successful golfer, you need to have a proper set of Golf Clubs, without which you would be of no use, whatsoever.
These clubs are the ones, using which you hit the ball in golf. For a layman, all of the clubs would be the same, because all that he can understand would be the fact that the ball is being hit by the club.
But only after proper study, you would come to know that each shot requires proper analysis and only if you have proper club for the shot, you can hit the ball successfully, as you would want.
The clubs are mainly categorized into three parts which are woods, irons and putters. The clubs are designed for specific shots, and are categorized on the basis of the effect that they would produce on the golf ball. Woods mainly are used for long range shots and are usually used during the initial stages of the games.
The club is more power oriented and throws the ball to larger distances. Putters help you work in a more controlled manner and are usually used when you want to put the ball in the hole. Irons are the ones that are used the most number of times in the game of golf.
At a time, a player is only allowed to carry 14 clubs and irons dominate the number by a large margin.
As said earlier, if you do not have a proper set of golf clubs, you cannot expect yourself to be a good player.
Skill itself cannot be the only criteria. If and only if you have the proper equipment to bring out the skills in you, you can be the best at what you do with Golf Clubs.
