The smell of turkey frying can be very tempting to most of us. Having had a good dinner, one must make sure one cleans the Electric Fryer and maintains it well.

25th February 2012 - Turkey can be the best meal of the year during Christmas. The use of an electric fryer has become almost a necessity in many people’s lives today.
Having experienced the usage of a deep fryer and a traditional oil fryer, in comparison, the Electric Fryer has been found to be very useful.
Many households and even restaurants use the new electric run fryer. This is very convenient and can be installed permanently within the kitchen too. It is lightweight and can also be detached and rolled over to any other suitable location.
Since the temperature within the electric fryer is twice as compared to the traditional fryer, the maintenance on this piece of equipment must be done properly. Before cleaning the walls of the fryer with cleansing solutions, any crumbs and stains should be removed by scraping the walls.
After having removed the crumbs, use a wet cloth to reduce the dirt that is stuck onto the walls. Make sure that the device has been turned off before performing any of these operations.
It is best to remove as much of the residue as possible without the use of a cleansing solution, by means of a metal spoon. The cleansing solution that can be used within the fryer is a dish washing liquid mixed with a small amount of vinegar. The dish washing liquid has antibacterial properties and this will keep the microbial levels under control. Then it is best to flush the contents with water. Doing this procedure at one hundred and fifty Fahrenheit is the best option. Oil that has been used once can be used a second time, not only if fish has been fired in it.
Having cleaned the inner parts of the device, the water should be wiped down using paper towels. Making use of the paper towels prevent any possibility of shock during the next use. If some of the stains have not gone, then adding one tenth of detergent with some vinegar and letting it boil within the machine can help separate any leftover residue from the inside of the electric fryer.
