This Press Release is written to inform the readers that Andrew Lesnak made his efforts to address mental health of victims.

The catastrophic rampages of hurricane Sandy that hit the land in October 2012 left many displaced and in dire need. Ripping through the greater New York City, this hurricane was highly devastating. Being the hurricane Sandy survivor, life of Andrew Lesnak clearly depicts how it changed drastically from having a successful business and a beautiful home to being depressed and suicidal.

Prior to his financial services business, Andrew was a major league baseball player who was drafted within the Minnesota Twins Organization. His passion for baseball urged him to volunteer his services as a private tutor in the inner cities where access to such opportunities was quite limited. However, he had to retire as a professional baseball player after an injury.

Thereafter in 1985, Andrew Lesnak started his successful financial services business and operated it successfully. After a long service of 25 years, Andrew decided to sell his firm. Everything was moving well when unexpectedly Hurricane Sandy hit the land. Its progression brought deadly flooding, mudslides, and destructive winds along with it.
While he was desperately waiting for some help to get back on his feet, American Red Cross became his only hope. This organization came up with the emergency relief through which it served meals and snacks to the victims and provided them with blankets, warm clothes and home clean-up supplies.

He was so overwhelmed with the much needed support and help provided by this organization that he decided to volunteer and donate to the organization. Even the years after the disaster, he donated to provide the victims with the shelter and the required emotional support.
