Andrew Lesnak was fortunate enough to have survived the trauma. He had endured many years of mental health treatment and this therapy allowed him to focus on putting the “broken pieces” back into his life, while also learning how to keep things in its proper perspective.

Andrew decided to devote his time and money to volunteer with organizations that focused on mental health and substance abuse issues. And, through his efforts of selflessness, he has been greatly recognized by many New Jersey organizations.

Shaping the pathway of low-income families, Andrew Lesnak believes that having life skills is an essential part of being able to meet the challenges of everyday life. In order to cope with the increasing pace and change of modern life, these families need the life skills. It helps them to stay on top of the household bills, eating well for less, making good decisions and live better while looking forward to a bright future. Andrew comes up with the financial planning services for these low-income families. It has helped them to live a comfortable life while managing their income and building assets.

He understands that increased exposure to the hurricane, the more likely you are to experience higher levels of depression, anxiety and stress. He came up with the counseling services to address the mental health issues that arise after the hurricane.

Still unsettled after so many years, Andrew loves to devote most of his time counseling and advocating for hurricane victims. He is helping to provide them with affordable housing as well as mental health counseling.

Hurricane Sandy changed the life of Andrew Lesnak dramatically and it changed from living in a beautiful waterfront home and successful thriving business to falling into a horrible depressive state. Soon, he was introduced to the various mental health facilities, that were filled with people suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues, and who had been receiving daily counseling.
