In 1975, John Gaynor was formed, not long before then John himself had graduated from Trinity College Dublin and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in November 1974.

Shortly thereafter, John formed part of Sheehan Hussey Gaynor Solicitors with Mr Justice Garrett Sheehan. 3 years later John had decided to start his own practice, John Gaynor & Company Solicitors.

Known for his integrity and reputation, he is viewed highly by his colleagues, clients and the law community as a practical & professional Solicitor.

Specialising in all areas of General practice law, John Gaynor & Co Solicitors has gained a massive reputation amongst other members of the Bar and has prominent members of the medical and entertainment industry forming part of the companies client base.

As a practice, JGS prides itself on it’s charity endeavours having ran the liberties fun run two years in a row amongst many other initiatives.

Heavily involved in the legal community, members of the practice enjoy speaking at Universities such as DCU, Trinity and other events where the team can offer up their areas of expertise to help and inspire the soon to be dublin solicitor community.

David O’Dowd, Equity Partner, is a highly regarded solicitor and joined the firm in 2011. David, with experience in Pharmaceuticals and Technology transitioned to law and graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology with qualifications in both Intellectual Law & IT Law from the Law Society of Ireland. Since then, David has become an asset to the team and is mentioned in nearly all of the companies many reviews.
