In this type of installation, nowadays less recommended for technical reasons, but equally valid and even necessary for the placement of exterior deck building. For surfaces where the slab would not support the weight of a screed, it is preferred by some nostalgic people who want to perceive that sound of our childhood, of hollow wood.
