This is the same frequency in which the blinds of fabric or strips should be washed.

Each type of curtain must receive a different treatment at the time of cleaning like same followed by the commercial laundry. While cotton models can be washed at home, silk, taffeta and velvet, because they are more delicate, should be brought to laundries. Cotton, even at home, deserves special attention:

- Products with very strong chlorine or soap powder should be avoided, as they may fade the fabric.

Washing must be done every six months. The ideal is to use liquid coconut soap, using the gentle cycle of the washing machine with cold water.

This is the same frequency in which the blinds of fabric or strips should be washed.

If fabric curtains show wear or fade, they should be exchanged.

- The frequency depends on the environment and the use it is intended for — usually from three to five years, but less noble fabrics need to be exchanged every two years

How to clean the shutters?

Pass a sponge with detergent and then a cloth with water to rinse. Then wipe a dry cloth. If the Venetian is too dirty, sprinkle white vinegar and allow acting for a few minutes. Sprinkle some baking soda on the sponge and pass it all over the surface. Then clean normally by following the procedure above.

How to clean fabric curtains?

If they are of simple fabric, such as cotton, and not very large, you can wash them in the machine in the delicate cycle. The others should be cleaned incommercial laundry, not to spoil the tissue.

What about the shutters?

If the blinds are woven, commercial laundry vacuum it using the brush mouth at least once a month. To wash them, I suggest a specialized company. The blinds in the model of parallel strips can be cleaned with a damp cloth, using detergent or a proper utensil.

How to clean the plastic curtains of the bathroom?

Take them out of the box and wash them in the machine using the gentle cycle. Add a little soap powder, a glass of white alcohol vinegar and a cup of baking soda to the dispenser. Put it in the box, open, to dry. If the piece is mold, use some vinegar or bleach in a sponge to clean the stains. You can prepare a solution in a spray, with a half water and another half of white vinegar or bleach.

How often do you clean them?

Clean the plastic curtains once every 15 days.
