The last time I went to Cebu City is when we have our educational tour. I was studying in a prestigious school in Davao City and part of the school curriculum was to conduct an educational tour every school year. The aim of the tour is to expose and let the students observe the actual working environments where the students will soon be working in a similar environment. Cebu City has numerous companies that offer these kinds of experience and environment. Together with other students of other departments of the college, we have a number of selected companies based on our major.

In our tour, we have visited Pentax, a camera manufacturing facility. We have seen how the tiny components inside the camera are being assembled in a controlled environment. They also offer customized camera based on your given specifications and designs. Another company was a film school and we have witnessed how they train the young professionals in creating quality films and contents. They have also 3D animators and designers and one the instructors have said that he worked in international movies in the past. We have also visited a Traffic Control Center and the in charge of the operations and its staffs are very accommodating in answering our queries. We have also visited a company that manufactures printing technology and solutions. They have demonstrated to us how they produce new products from the concept up to the testing and productions. They employ different strategies in each stage of their development to produce quality products for us consumers to use. They also expand and offer different business solutions to their clients. During the tour package and stay in the city, we enjoy our time as we visit different companies and how our profession can be applied in the industry. It was one of the affordable tour packages by a tour agency based in Cebu City in which our school has arranged for the tour.

It was really a great experience most especially after the tour package, we are able to eat and fill our bellies in different restaurants. Everyone was very nice and accommodating during the tour. As we go back to our homes, we have witnessed and educated by the affordable tour package given to us.
